Heater Finished Product Inspection Standard (QC SOP)
-
Product Name: Heater
applicable market: USA/UK (mainly US standard plug)
Effective date: February 9, 2026
Inspection nature: Full inspection, safety items are subject to veto
Part 1: Safety Performance Inspection (CRITICAL - Extremely serious defects, veto)
-
If any item in this section fails to meet the requirements, the entire batch of goods will be rejected and cannot be shipped.1.Tilting and power-off test (core function | video recording required)oStandard: The machine, while powered on and in operation, can be tilted or pushed over in any direction.oJudgment: Operation must be stopped immediately (heating element off/fan stops). After being straightened, it must be able to automatically recover or require manual reset (depending on the model), and there must be no jamming.2.Overheat protection test (core function | video recording required)oStandard: Simulate air outlet blockage (cover the air outlet with a towel, pay attention to safety, and control the test time to within a few seconds to tens of seconds).oJudgment: The machine's temperature controller must trip to automatically stop heating and prevent fire.3.Safety of protective nettingoStandard: For models with exposed heating elements (such as the small sun heater), the heat shield must be sturdy.oJudgment: A standard test finger (or simulated finger) cannot be inserted into the mesh cover to contact the heating element. The mesh cover should not deform under force and touch the heating element.4.Electrical structure and plugoPlug specifications: Must be a US standard plug (such as UL standard), and the prongs must be free from oxidation and deformation.oPower cord: The length meets the standard, and the markings on the cord are clear (e.g., 300/500V, 3×0.75mm²).oPull test: The power cord must have a protective sleeve and a wire clamp at the point where it enters the device. Pull the power cord forcefully (approximately 10kg), and the cord should not loosen or be pulled out.5.Surface temperature riseoStandard: After 30 minutes of normal operation.oJudgment: The temperature of non-heat-generating functional areas (such as handles, control panels, and back covers) should not be too high, and there should be no risk of burns when touching them.

Part Two: Functional and Performance Testing (MAJOR - Critical Defect)
- Part Two: Functional and Performance Testing (MAJOR - Critical Defect)1.Heating efficiencyoStandard: Within 10-30 seconds after power-on.oJudgment: A noticeable and continuous heat output must be felt.2.Operation functions (video recording required)oSwitches/knobs: Smooth operation, no sticking.oMode switching: The switching between cold air/warm air/high and low speed is sensitive, and the indicator light (if present) displays correctly.oTimer function: After setting the time, the machine can automatically shut down on time.3.Noise and Odor (Environmental Testing)oNoise: The heater operates with a smooth airflow, without any resonance or abnormal noise caused by loose assembly.oOdor: A power-on "run-through" test must be performed. A slight volatile odor is permissible during initial use, but there must be no pungent burnt plastic smell or strong odor.4.Special examinations for oil-filled radiators (if applicable)oCheck for signs of oil leakage (visually inspect the seams and smell the odor), and ensure there are no unusual noises when the machine is shaken.
-

Part 3: Appearance, Packaging and Labeling (MINOR - Minor Defects)
-

- 1.Add batch number label (mandatory item)oLocation: Attach to the back or bottom of the product body, of moderate size, and clearly visible.oFormat: ZFN + Contract Number (numerical part).oExample execution: For order PZF260107 , the batch number label must be printed as ZFN260107 .2.Appearance and craftsmanshipoOuter shell: uniform color, no shrinkage, no cracks, no scratches, no burrs.oHardware: No rust, no blistering or peeling of electroplating.oAssembly: The joints are uniform and tight, and the screws are not stripped or missing.3.Packaging and AccessoriesoOuter box: sturdy and undamaged; the markings (model, color, voltage) match the actual product.oInstruction manual: Must be in English and contain detailed information.oAccessories: Complete set including bracket, screw pack, etc.4.Document consistencyoVerify the CCC certificate (or UL/ETL/CE certificate, depending on specific export requirements) and test report.oConfirm that the certificate model number is completely consistent with the actual nameplate.
